'Bout time for an update... it's been a while :)

We're slowly (very slowly) unpacking, but the new place already feels like "home". luvcherbear and i got the downstairs mostly sorted in time to have some family over for Thanksgiving. There are still leftovers haunting the fridge and freezer, but that's why luvcherbear said she wanted to host turkey dinner in the first place :)

Yesterday we went out and got a Yule tree. I carried it in, dropped it in the tree stand and stood it upright... The topmost needles brushed against the ceiling, a perfect fit! Within half an hour the living room smelled of pine, the smell that always makes things more holidayish. We did some decorating for the rest of the evening and wrote cards... It feels even more like home now :)
