Weekendyness

I really should try to make a habit of posting a weekend summary... Most of the fun stuff happens on weekends, after all :) I completely forgot about posting about going to Darkover a few weekends ago, with luvcherbear and our extended family. Some minor drama, and me being grumpy, getting over a cold, but other than that it was a blast! And several people recognised my Wicked Faire III (Escape from Holiday Innsmouth) t-shirt, including a web comic artist (i think i may have squeed when i realised who i was talking to).

So, this weekend... Saturday was mostly just busy time, tidying up the house. We didn't make it to cerunnous' and renfairewench's party as was originally planned, due to assorted migrainage. Sunday was hurried relpax popping, grocery shopping, putting storm windows in the screen doors, more grocery shopping, finding out my kid sister is actually driving (a car!) and then settling down with friends for game day.

(Oh, while i'm thinking about her... my sister won two awards at this year's Lehigh Valley Music Awards, Best Original Song and Best Lyricist!)

Game day was fun, as always... good friends, good beer, fun games, silly music. We had a round of silly christmas music/videos... Here's one i've seen in a few places today, and would have been perfect:
