Daylight saving time sucks. Not only is it completely unnecessary, it messes up sleep schedules :P It's not just losing an hour's sleep, everything feels "the wrong time" for days after the change-over.
My brain apparently tried to compensate for it last night and over-compensated. I woke up to the alarm clock going off at 4:30 this morning, or at least so i thought. I cringed at the noise, worried that it might eventually wake
luvcherbear up. Then it occurred to me i could do something about it, by hitting the snooze button. Getting up to do that apparently woke me up enough to realise i was just dreaming the clock was going off an hour early. I fell asleep again and then had a very vivid dream about trying to set the alarm back to the right time, but i kept missing... i left it at 5:33, the nearest i could manage. And then i think i had a conversation with
luvcherbear about how changing the time after i had checked it the night before just to mess with my head was Not A Good Thing. (Not that i think you ever would do that, sweetie, it's just what you told me in the dream :) *kiss*)
So now i'm bleary-eyed at work, and have to schedule a conference call with someone in Taiwan tomorrow morning, where they are far more civilized and didn't suddenly change their clocks this weekend, but now i have to explain how 8 o'clock is not the same time as it was last week...
Home, home again / I like to be here when I can / And when I come home cold and tired / Its good to warm my bones beside the fire.
