Another update...
A lot has happened since i last posted, so i figured it might be time for an update. I should have more time to post next week, as i'll be stuck in a hotel room in Minneapolis. Of course, i probably won't have anything to post about, as i'll be, well, stuck in a hotel room in Minneapolis.
Since i've already written about next week, i guess i'll continue in reverse chronological order :)

luvcherbear and i went to visit friends who just took over a franchise of Vintner's Circle, a full service wine-making place. You can buy a kit there and make the wine at home, or do the whole thing there using their equipment. You can even taste the wines to choose which you'd like to make. We'll probably start a batch at their place in a few weeks.
I've been off this past week, due to my company doing the whole "let's save money by not paying you" thing. So on Thursday we hung out with some friends, drinking good beer at Porters, playing Rockband and just relaxing. The day before, i had a lunch date withluvcherbear at, coincidentally, Porters :)
Last weekend, on Sunday, we went to visitfaerygurl and her husband. Wonderful time with wonderful people! Much nummy food was prepared on the grill and we ate al fresco. luvcherbear even got to sample some absinthe. The day before, we celebrated the 4th with neko_no_kioku and the puppies. Or rather, puppy... because of the constant fireworks and the thunderstorms of the past few weeks, Brenna has taken to hiding under the couch, so she was rarely seen. Lots more nummy food was had :) I don't think we actually saw any fireworks all weekend...
The weekend before that we had a party at our place. It was a great time... Thanks to all who came out (far too many to list here)! Lots of friends and family showed up to celebrate... me becoming a US citizen the Tuesday before (June 23rd)! At long last, after waiting for months after i passed the citizenship test. And i changed my name at the same time! A smaller contingent of friends and family came out to the ceremony at the Northampton County courthouse, which was quite moving. There's an article about it and also some photos, including one of me as i was the first one up :)
So, yeah, off on another trip next week. I don't like traveling much, and being away fromluvcherbear even less. Here's hoping for an uneventful journey...
