amazing weekendedness

Yes, it's a bit late in the week to be posting about my weekend... But i don't get much time during the workday to even read LJ, let alone post. So by the time i do have a chance to post, it seems it may not be immediately relevant any more and so why bother. But because this weekend was so awesometastic, i'm not falling into that pattern again and posting anyway :) And my Love, luvcherbear, is working tonight, so i do have time for the moment.

This was, what, the 3rd weekend in a row that i and luvcherbear went to visit bunnyjadwiga, juergen and maziemaus? stihltygre was there, too, this time! (And mammabearpa and baby E., for a little while.) As the evening progressed, there was such a feeling of, well, family. Way beyond camaraderie, actual kinship. The closest we've been to stihltygre's ideal of "Tribe", i think.

There was only a little one-on-one time with bunnyjadwiga, but mostly because we were all busy "being family", which didn't really leave time for anyone to be alone. I do consider everyone there Saturday night to be my closest chosen family (admittedly a somewhat incestuous one :) Much snuggling was had...

Sunday found us with far less sleep than we needed... We meandered home (literally, not just sleepily wandering, it is a road alongside a river) and dealt with lonely cats at home. Much more snuggling was had. And napping. And talking. Wonderful :)

Every once in a while i get the perfect mix of my friends/sweeties and the vibe is just *on*. It's a great feeling. :)
